On Börsenstraße in Frankfurt, the existing building was extensively renovated to become the headquarters of Frankfurter Volksbank and expanded with a new building. In the first construction phase, the façade and building services were renovated according to the designs of a winning competition. In the second phase, the existing building was supplemented by a new building. Old and new blend seamlessly, forming an organic whole with a continuous natural stone façade made of Trosselfels stone and large light metal windows. The refurbished parts of the building are equipped to the same high standard as the new part. The newly created building complex with a prominent address at Börsenplatz 1 offers space for retail and restaurants on the ground floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and a total of 25,000 m² of office space on five to seven upper floors.

"Old and new blend seamlessly together"
