In the well-connected Eschborn Süd commercial district, a building complex is being constructed on a 6,000 m² site, divided into two modern office buildings on a shared two-story underground parking garage. A key concern was to design the two buildings on the corner plot in such a way that they communicate with each other while creating an open and inviting urban setting. Two mirror-image structures, each with six floors, now stand opposite each other at an angle. The open space between them opens the complex to the street and provides access via spacious foyers. Roof terraces on the top floor add further accents. The light-colored metal façade is a striking feature even from a distance: floor-to-ceiling vertical profile cladding and a changing orientation on each floor emphasize the unusual folds on the exterior of the structures. In addition, a horizontal straight metal band runs around the building at floor level.
