  • First of a total of three construction phases now entering implementation
  • Attractive urban development provides diversity with many public amenities
  • Highly efficient in terms of technology and energy according to EH40 standard

The signing of a 15-year lease agreement with the Federal Agency for Real Estate (BImA) marks the start of the first construction phase of the new Börsenplatz Eschborn urban quarter. The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) will be the sole user of the total 22,000 m² of rental space. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-2022 and be completed by the end of 2024.

Two further construction phases will create a total of 50,000 m² of rental space at the Eschborn Süd location, making the project an important urban anchor in the commercial district. With its attractively designed, publicly accessible outdoor areas and the public uses arranged around the square in the ground floor zones of the new buildings, such as retail, restaurants, and fitness facilities, Börsenplatz represents a quality gain for the entire district.

"Our urban concept for Börsenplatz convinced the BAFA, which implements the German government's innovation programs. The idea of a new urban quarter will create a completely new working environment, and the combination of offices, retail, and services will make a significant contribution to the positive development of the entire urban environment," said Holger Meyer, praising the signing of the lease agreement.
