Around 80 modern apartments and 19 single-family homes are being built in the new Neumühle district in Oberursel – sustainable, barrier-free, and designed with the future in mind. On May 16, 2025, a topping-out ceremony was held with all project participants – a significant milestone: the completion of the shell construction. The topping-out ceremony for the neighboring Kettler-La-Roche School, which was also designed by our office, was celebrated in 2024.

Together with Becken Development GmbH, the housing project receives the "Property of the Year 2024" award, which is presented annually by Callwey Verlag. Our FRAMES project (in collaboration with GOLDBECK AG and Indigo Invest GmbH) on Hanauer Landstraße in Frankfurt am Main was awarded the Iconic Award in the Winner category. The striking letterpress facade stands out clearly from the surrounding buildings and represents a successful combination of system construction and sophisticated architecture.

Our design presents an outstanding, multifunctional building with high recognition value and a lively center. It offers various uses such as work, entertainment, living, a two-stream elementary school, but also the previous Peek & Cloppenburg retail space in a reduced form. The building's cubature is developed from its diverse uses and floor plan organization.

240630_Architectural Tours 2024 – hma is participating!

We are delighted to be participating in the Bavarian Chamber of Architects' Architektouren event on June 30, 2024, with our residential construction project 'Hoch der Isar' in Munich. Together with two other architectural firms, we developed the overall design for the construction site on Hochstraße. The result is a multi-layered ensemble of 13 new buildings, which together with the existing buildings along Hochstraße form a polygonal perimeter block development.

hma wants to take a stand against the senseless war in Ukraine: we are tripling the total amount of individual donations made by our employees to various organizations, from €7,500 to €15,000, and donating a further €15,000 to pro interplast Seligenstadt to support their aid project "Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine." "We have chosen one of the organizations where we can provide concrete and immediate help," says Holger Meyer. Aid convoys travel to the Polish-Ukrainian border crossing every two weeks. On board are specific relief supplies such as medicines, bandages, food, and hygiene products, which have been requested in direct consultation with local aid workers. hma was able to secure the fourth transport, which starts today, with its donation.

The mix of residential, office, and retail uses is located in the U-shaped new buildings, which are arranged in pairs of three blocks that are open to each other and slightly offset. A significant high point is the 10-story office tower with an inviting neighborhood square to the east. The green east-west axis, which connects the inner courtyards and the neighboring neighborhoods, leads here as the entrance to the neighborhood.
