The WinX in Frankfurt's MainTor quarter is part of the sophisticated skyline. The client wanted high-quality finishes for both the foyer and the conference area with plenary hall, training areas, offices, and cafeteria with roof terrace. The foyer is divided by a crystalline element from which the reception desk and the staircase balustrade emerge. Continuous travertine flooring and natural stone on the walls and stairs create a high-quality atmosphere. A dynamic light wall and light ceiling visually break up the heaviness of the stone and allow it to shine generously. Geometric structures made of terracotta serve as room dividers in the cafeteria and correspond with ceramic elements on the walls. The furniture is modern throughout – the mix of different seating areas and different furniture gives the cafeteria a fresh and inviting feel.
