As part of a renovation project, the listed Cardinal Schulte Haus was restructured while retaining its spiritual character. A sensitive design and spatial concept that combines tranquility and contemplation preserves the spirit of the building and focuses on its various uses. The common areas were opened up to strengthen the connection to the outside and the surroundings. The inner courtyard was also given a high quality of stay and became an atmospheric place all year round. Inside, the spacious reception area near the surrounding cross vaults is particularly impressive. High-quality and durable materials made of oak and natural stone radiate calm and stability, with color accents added at selected points. The hotel rooms combine their contemplative charm with modern and comfortable furnishings. Throughout the building, visitors can enjoy light-flooded lounge areas, lounge corners, and the library.
