Topping-out ceremony for the Rheinkontor project in Mainz

Together with Michael Ebling, Mayor of Mainz, Thorsten Schönenberger, member of the Board of Managing Directors of LBBW, Frank Berlepp, Managing Director of LBBW Immobilien-Gruppe, and Holger Meyer, the topping-out ceremony for the Rheinkontor office project was celebrated today. The new building on Rheinallee marks the northwestern start of the new urban quarter and will be one of LBBW's four headquarters. Completion is scheduled for summer 2020.

The 15,800 m² new office building has a clear five-story block structure along Rheinallee in the southeast of the district, which is staggered to four stories, creating space for a roof terrace facing the customs port. The windows, which are staggered from floor to floor, give the building a distinctive and identity-defining appearance with their asymmetrical reveals, making it an eye-catching feature in the Zollhafen district.
