On behalf of a joint venture between investment and asset manager Hamburg Trust and Frankfurt-based project developer Oxalis REIM, holger meyer architektur is designing the LEIQ office building in Offenbach. A total of around 29,000 m² of rental space and a parking garage with 313 parking spaces will be created. Half of the space has already been leased on a long-term basis to the Danish company Danfoss, which is renting the space for its new German headquarters.

An important building block at the interface of two urban development areas

At the interface of the most important urban development projects in Offenbach am Main, the new LEIQ office building forms the north-eastern gateway to the new Kaiserlei quarter and is the link to the new development area of the Offenbach harbor to the east. Folded facades and an eaves edge rising towards the corners of the building characterize the silhouette of the seven-story new building.

Main tenant Danfoss brings innovative technology to the building

The main tenant, Danfoss, is a global market and technology leader in the development of energy-efficient infrastructures in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating. Danfoss will move its German headquarters to LEIQ. Not least because of this, LEIQ will be one of the first CO2-neutral office buildings in Germany. Construction of the new building is expected to start in the third quarter of 2020. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2022.
