With a gross floor area of around 50,000 m², the new DekaBank building on Lyoner Straße in Niederrad is a central component in the redevelopment of the residential and office district and, with its striking and inviting architecture, occupies one of the entrances to the office district. Large glass facades on the front sides of the office blocks allow for expansive views in and out and hang like monitors above a two-story base that connects the office blocks.
Access to the building is from Lyoner Straße, where visitors first enter a two-story entrance hall. Adjacent to this foyer is a coffee bar and a company restaurant, which can also be used as an event hall. The first floor mainly houses conference rooms, while the office space is located between the second and eighth floors, which are designed as staggered floors.
The design of the outdoor facilities has created a high-quality outdoor space. The inner courtyard serves as a space for socializing and relaxing in green surroundings, as well as a retreat and break room. Terraces and roof gardens complement these outdoor spaces.
