›Bahnstadt‹ Quarter in Heidelberg is one of the largest urban development projects in Germany. Covering a total area of 116 hectares, a new district is being created with a lively mix of residential, scientific, commercial, and cultural facilities. The new quarter meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Following a competition organized by LBBW Immobilien Development GmbH in Stuttgart, meyerschmitzmorkramer is implementing the winning design for a new building with 90 residential units and a mix of 2- to 5-room apartments. An underground parking garage, private gardens, and shared common areas round out the concept. A facade made of a composite thermal insulation system with mineral plaster and high-quality clinker brick slips clad the residential building.
