Topping-out ceremony for PANDION OFFICEHOME Soul in Munich

June 16, 2023

  • Kick-off for the southern factory district – together with the planned sister project PANDION OFFICEHOME Beat
  • Users in OFFICEHOME Soul will be the German Patent and Trademark Office
  • Completion planned for mid-2024

Together with PANDION AG, the traditional topping-out ceremony for the PANDION OFFICEHOME Soul office building in Munich's Werksviertel district was celebrated yesterday. The completed shell of the building was presented to the companies and institutions involved in the project, as well as neighbors and guests from the Munich real estate industry.

The 44,700 m² of the new building on Anzinger Straße in Munich Haidhausen is expected to be ready for occupancy in mid-2024. The long-term tenant is the Federal Agency for Real Estate (BImA), and the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) will also move in. The up to seven-story office building is located on the promenade that forms the southern entrance to the Werksviertel district and connects OFFICEHOME Soul with its sister project OFFICEHOME Beat, which will cover around 32,000 square meters and was also designed by holger meyer architektur.

Reinhold Knodel, CEO and sole shareholder of PANDION AG, is delighted to be realizing such a large and exciting project despite difficult market conditions and highlighted the office concept, which transfers the high quality of living from the residential area to the office environment.

A large roof terrace on the second floor and balconies surrounding the three inner courtyards create high-quality recreational areas that extend the office space into the outdoor area. In addition, OFFICEHOME Soul features floor-to-ceiling windows, external sun protection, and mechanical ventilation. A modern mobility concept with over 400 bicycle parking spaces with attached shower and changing facilities, an underground car park with over 300 individual parking spaces, and charging stations for e-mobility complete the overall package. The project is certified according to DGNB Gold and Wired Score Gold and is being implemented in accordance with EU taxonomy.
