"Same same, but different"

Yesterday, the exhibition "same same, but different" opened at the Vitra showroom in Frankfurt. meyerschmitzmorkramer is part of the art installation. In the exhibition series "Ampelphase" (Traffic Light Phase), Vitra opens its showroom every two years to six renowned architecture firms, which can present themselves there in their own individual way for three weeks. This year, meyerschmitzmorkramer, together with five architecture and creative firms from the region, is dedicating itself to the theme of home – with very diverse and inspiring installations.

The exhibit "Heimat: ein Ort der Gefühle?" (Home: a place of feelings?) was inspired by the quote "Home is not the country, it is the community of feelings" by Louis Antoine Saint-Just. A box displays several transparent figures made of Plexiglas who are searching for home, while only one yellow figure appears to have found it.
