Dear business partners, friends, and customers,
After 15 years of extremely successful collaboration, we have decided to strike out in new directions at the beginning of 2019. We have come to realize that the office has grown to a size where we are no longer able to generate sufficient added value together, but instead find that the necessary administrative tasks are increasingly taking up the time we need for collaboration. We both want to become more flexible again, be closer to our employees and projects, and focus more on our passion: good architecture.
New paths after successful collaboration
We are connected both professionally and privately, and therefore only decided to reorganize the offices and strike out on new and separate paths with the respective units after thorough consideration and deliberation. Of course, this decision was not an easy one for us, especially since we have built such a successful and renowned office together. We have always been on the same page. None of the decisions we have made in recent years have been made in disagreement. This also applies to this new step. We are convinced that it is the right one for our future development and work and that it will bring us, our employees, and our activities even further forward.
More flexibility through division
In future, meyerschmitzmorkramer main gmbh, with its offices in Frankfurt and Munich, will be continued by Holger Meyer and Gregor Gutscher under the name 'holger meyer architektur', and meyerschmitzmorkramer rhein gmbh, with its offices in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, will be continued by Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer under the name 'caspar.schmitzmorkramer'. Holger Meyer will continue to run our company in Bucharest.
Expanded opportunities in 2019
The two companies will remain on friendly terms. With this in mind, we wish everyone a good start to 2019, which we will shape successfully with renewed strength, enthusiasm, commitment, and expanded opportunities.
