A new office and commercial building has been constructed in the area between Hauptwache, St. Catherine's Church, and Zeil. The building, erected on the site of the traditional Hako House, which has since been demolished, marks the entrance to Frankfurt's most important shopping street. The gently curved architecture of the light-colored natural stone façade made of shell limestone invites visitors into the shopping area and interacts with the square in front of it and the surrounding buildings. Five floors plus two staggered floors offer high-quality space for upscale retail, restaurants, and offices. A special highlight is the roof terrace on the fifth, recessed upper floor. A newly created passageway on the ground floor also provides exciting views of St. Catherine's Church.

"A new building on an appropriate 'metropolitan' scale"
