The St Martin Tower in Frankfurt am Main, designed by meyerschmitzmorkramer Architekten, has been awarded the Martin Elsaesser Plaque. The BDA Group Frankfurt aims to use this award to raise public awareness of good, exemplary architecture. The "Excellent Architecture in Hesse" competition is held every five years. It is named after the renowned architect who once headed the Frankfurt Building Authority for several years.
