With first prize in a quality assurance process, meyerschmitzmorkramer was awarded the planning contract in 2017 for the nine-story high-rise building on a trapezoidal floor plan. With a design that picks up on the existing forms and structures of the site, the area is being redefined and restructured in terms of urban planning. The façade is structured by natural stone and window surfaces in a uniform rhythm. While the geometry of the supports emphasizes the verticality of the building, surrounding natural stone bands pick up on the elegant curve of the building. The design language of the rounded building edges is consistently reflected in the curved window panes. The ground floor is designed for flexible use, while high-quality office space is planned for the 4,000 m² of upper floors. On the 7th floor, the façade recedes, creating a spectacular roof terrace.
