June 21, 2021

Following the signing of the contract in fall 2020, the laying of the foundation stone for The Move office complex in Gateway Gardens at Frankfurt Airport was celebrated on June 21, 2021. On behalf of Goldbeck Systembau, we are planning the new construction of the two-part office building complex for Siemens Real Estate. Once construction work is completed in 2022 and 2023, Siemens AG and external tenants will move into flexible office space here that meets Siemens standards.

Goldbeck Systembau is the basis for the planning of the architecturally sophisticated concept for the new buildings. In addition to the latest technologies, the concept also incorporates the extensive experience that Siemens has gained in designing new working environments in recent years and also during the pandemic.

The celebration took place on the construction site at De-Saint-Exupéry-Straße 3-7 in Gateway Gardens with a small group of guests. In addition to the building owners, Dr. Zsolt Sluitner, CEO of Siemens Real Estate, and Uwe Bartmann, CEO of Siemens Germany, other representatives of Siemens were also among the guests. Frankfurt's Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann, Gateway Gardens Managing Director Carolyn von Monschaw, Goldbeck GmbH CEO Jan-Hendrik Goldbeck, and Holger Meyer also took part in the celebrations.

Attractive offices offering a high degree of flexibility are being created on five floors. A spacious lobby, a bistro, and an experience restaurant are planned for the ground floor of the building complex, which will be available to all tenants. There will also be a total of 330 parking spaces in underground garages. The new building is located in the immediate vicinity of the new Gateway Gardens S-Bahn station and is therefore well connected to public transport in the Rhine-Main area. The complex is aiming for LEED Gold and DGNB certification.
