On October 8, 2020, the foundation stone was laid for the "Hoch der Isar" project in Munich's Au-Haidhausen district. The individual buildings were developed in a workshop process with a design advisory board from the city of Munich and in cooperation with Rapp + Rapp Architekten and su + z Architekten. The basis for this is a design guideline for the entire neighborhood that was developed in collaboration with the city.

The majority of the guests attended the ceremony via livestream. In his speech, Clemens Baumgärtner, City Councilor for Labor and Economic Affairs, praised the lively and varied architecture, which fits in perfectly with the existing buildings on Hochstraße.
