Building permit granted for the revitalization of the historic Fürstenhof

Historic preservation meets modern office spaces – The Fürstenhof has an eventful history and has undergone several transformations over time. The building is distinguished by its unique location in the heart of Frankfurt am Main, situated directly on Gallusanlage between the theater, opera house, and European Central Bank. By preserving the historic façade and adding two conservatories, the history of the Fürstenhof is respectfully commemorated while at the same time revitalizing the 600 m² forecourt. An extension with a spacious pavilion and a roof terrace offers views of the Frankfurt skyline and the ramparts. The granting of the building permit marked the first milestone in the revitalization of the historic building complex in downtown Frankfurt. The building fabric is to be preserved as far as possible, and flexible, bright, and modern office spaces are to be created on almost 34,500 m² of gross floor area by 2026.
